Blockbuster takes inspiration from tightly spaced sans-serifs used in film titles.

The Latin is designed for both all-caps and capitalised typesetting. The short ascenders perfectly align with the cap height for easy horizontal stacking. This translates into the Devanagari, featuring short above and below base marks.
